Ray of Hope

Today, I ventured out after the kids were in bed (during golden hour!) to capture our newly blooming sun flowers.

I got some good shots of the sunflowers, but ended up liking this leaf for today’s photo because it is different. It makes me think of the nail holes in Jesus’ hands. I can’t imagine how much that would hurt, and yet, he took that punishment for me!

Our daughter was asking a lot tonight about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is fun hearing her questions, and her innocence as she learns new things. I pray we can teach our kids the importance of knowing God and walking with Him in this life.
