You Are a Link in a Chain
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the interconnectedness of the body of Christ. Every time a friend edits an article for me or when a sister in Christ reminds me of a helpful truth I can share with my children, I marvel at the way our Lord builds his kingdom. Charles Hodge once wrote that we are not separate grains of wheat, but we are links in a complicated chain. This chain is incredible. It creates the beauty of God’s kingdom through a whole bunch of nobodies giving and serving in often small ways.
I wrote more about this at Gospel-Centered Discipleship. You can click here to read it. (You can also learn a little bit about the amazing fiddler crab!)
